Carol entered the world of electrical contracting the old fashioned way--she married into it!  Originally a high school history teacher, she began running the electrical business in her (non-existent) spare time.  Eventually, having two jobs became impossible, and she became a full time business owner.  She is the driving force behind our residential electrical service division, and brings a woman's perspective to our customer service philosophy.  Carol points to an incident that happened in her own home as the reason for her high standards for The Wiring Whiz electricians. "During a construction project at my home, the workers smoked in the house,  ruined a carpet, and taught my two young children words I didn't want them to know!!  I firmly believe that residential electrical service doesn't have to be a negative experience."

Dan Hart, managing partner

Dan has logged in over 20 years in the electrical field, many of them as a contractor. He is the E-1 (Contractor's) license holder in our company and has a wide range of experience in commercial and industrial contracting.  He is widely respected for the quality of his work and his reputation for honesty and integrity.  He came to the conclusion that his special skills would be most valued by working directly for customers rather than General Contractors, and so began focusing on residential electrical installations and repairs. "I love working in customer's homes", he says.  "Customers call us because they have a problem or perhaps a project they want completed.  I'm the hero when I can solve their problem, or provide a service beyond their expectations." In addition to working in the field and with commercial customers Dan is an instructor with CT Electrical Training Center, providing the annual training necessary for electricians to maintain their license.
